Peter Han, M.Ed., R.P.
Clinical Associate
Peter (He/Him) is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Peter obtained his Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto. He completed his clinical training at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), providing Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds with complex mental health needs. Peter received his DBT training from internationally-recognized experts in DBT.
Peter draws on DBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to support adults and adolescents experiencing distress related to emotion regulation, substance use, self-harming, and interpersonal relationships. He provides psychotherapy that is neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and intersectionality-focused, all within the bounds of a genuine, collaborative, and nonjudgmental relationship. He believes that psychotherapy can provide a unique opportunity to build a personally meaningful life by honouring the ways we have adapted to difficulties as well as developing new ways of relating to ourselves and our environment. In his spare time, Peter enjoys frequenting flea markets, horticultural walks, kayaking, hiking, and snowboarding.
